What we do

Ayuryoga is a term composed of two Sanskrit words: Ayur = "life" and Yoga = "equilibrium". It can be translated as "life in equilibrium".

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is ancient science of life, goes beyond medicine, considering human being as a whole, not just as a sick person, to promote and prevent all round health. Ayurveda is not only an ancient Indian science of preventive health and healing but also a philosophy of balanced living.

Yoga

Yoga is a science of well-being, science of youthfulness, science of integrating of body, mind and soul. Yoga, in its true sense, is the unification of the Atman (unit consciousness), with Paramatman (the Supreme Consciousness) through various scientific Yogic practices like Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha etc.

Meditation

About Meditation it is said, "Close your eyes and Open your mind" It's a process to nourish and blossom the Divinity within oneself. Every living being is moving along life's mysterious pathway searching for a meaningful and lasting happiness. Through introspection and self control one can avoid a series of unwanted situations and live more peacefully.

School

Ayuryoga proposes a series of Yoga Teacher's Training Program recognized by Yoga Alliance and introduces Ayurvedic Massage Therapy Course for professionals to enable them assist and help overcoming various psycho-physical ailments in its early stages. Moreover to learn living a better life consciously without depending on external support.

Music & Dance

From the ancient time human beings of all culture have always tried to express themselves through various arts like Music and Dance. Ayuryoga believe artistic expressions are the tools to reach inner self and long lasting happiness more easily than many other existing means. They encourage oneself to go beyond and experience the aesthetic sense of living.

Well being

As long as one live, there's always a possibility to loose one's own original equilibrium because of wrong doings and misunderstandings. Body expresses its uneasiness through various symptoms. During its early stages (before it become chronic) people can restore their psycho-physical health by rectifying their food habits, by Massage Therapy and other holistic practices.

Ayuryoga is also the combination of two sciences, Ayurveda and Yoga, which are integrated and complementary to each other to help achieving higher state of conscious living. Ayurveda is defined as the science that treats life in all its aspects, explains the value, quality and extent. Life (Ayur) is always defined as a combination of body, mind and soul. Yoga describes the path of all round development of human beings. According to Bhagavad Gita, Yoga is equilibrium, how to reach that state of living, beyond attachment and aversion, which gives the abilities to dissolve sufferings and reach the state of ultimate union, the main purpose of human life.
